• Hi,
I cannot figure out why my thumbnails showing icons in the middle of the page (Nyhedsmail, Sociale Medier, WordPress) keeps being blurry no matter how big a picture (pixel-wise) I use. The one showing now are 270×250 as recommended by the theme but I’ve tried a lot of other sizes also…

    Thanks in advance ??

  • Nyhedsmail, Sociale Medier, WordPress being rendered at 250x227px

Check your settings at Global>Image settings

thanks for answering, however when checking out global > image settings it doesn’t say anything about image size. I just tried to use plugin “regenerate thumbnails” but that did not help ??
what do you mean by the pictures being rendered at 250×227 px and what can I do so solve the problem?
once again, thank you in advance. – I’m a bit new to all this ??

    OK, sorry to confuse you!

The 3 images should be added as Featured Images in the 3 pages you’ve set up. Those images should be 270x250px when you add the FI on each Page. Check that you have loaded them correctly as 270x250px.

Assuming you did that, Czr is rescaling them to 250×227 when it renders the webpage. I’m not yet sure why, but suggested you look at checking/unchecking settings, esp Autoscale images on zoom

Doesn’t work ?? But thanks for trying ??

    Hi,

You have jetpack plugin with Photon module enabled.
Actually your images are being loaded from jetpack servers, and not directly from your website.

Therefore, you need to re-name and re-upload any images that you resized, if not, jetpack will continue to load the same cached image from their server.

I suggest you disable photon module if you do not need to use it.

    Thanks!

Thank you but its still not working ??
Just did the following: deactivated the Jetpack plugin, renamed the pictures, uploaded them again (I never resized them directly in wordpress) and emptied my cache to reload my website.

Do you think I should delete the Jetpack plugin completely to make it work?

Try deactivating it before deleting it. Often is a cause of image problems.

    Still not helping ??
Are there anything else I can do? (I’m lost!)

What are you viewing with (PC/Mac – Browser)?

Seriously, they are clear on your screen?
Maybe I’m the one who need glasses… ?? Even on my phone they are not clear…

I checked with @d4z and he can’t see the problem either!
