Private Access for WordPress Blog?

  • I have a client who wants to allow private access to a seperate area of her blog. This is what she wants exactly:

    okay i want it to have user access to a seperate part of the blog that allows publicists to search for blogs and bloggers to join and look for publishers or wait to be contacted by them

    Is there a way to do that, or a plugin for it?

    Volunteers here usually don’t like helping other people do their job.

    As far as the problem goes, probably just create a page and then password protect it.

    well the “client” is more of a friend but anyway, i dont think thats what she wants. she wants people to be able to have a username and be able to access that area. kinda like a private forum on a message board i guess.
