GIF as homepage, click to enter website, how?

Hi guys,

I’d love to set a gif image I have as homepage. So to asay, you enter the website and you only have the gif, you have to click on it to enter the actual website with different categories etc

Is this possible? Should I get a specific theme to do that? I have a blog right now, but I wanna upgrade it to a semi-professional website
