    I am on rackspace cloud sites and emails are not sending from Ninja forms.

    Here is what I have tried:

    1. I have confirmed that email from wp_mail is working on the site.
    2. I have also sent email from php mail() function on the site.
    3. Everything is up to date (wordpress, plugins, themes, etc)
    4. I have tried switching to the 2015 theme.
    5. I have tried turning off all of my plugins.
    6. I have tried installing Easy SMTP mail sender and using Mandrill.
    7. I have tried using many combinations of emails addresses (from domain, admin email, etc)

    What does work: The form submits and submission are saved.

    I am not sure what else to do with this.

    Any ideas?

  • You are not alone.

    I am no longer receiving admin email notifications.

    • I am all up to date on WordPress and plugins.
    • Email user notifications is working
    • Submissions are working.
    • I have tried uninstalling plugins
    • I have done similar checks

    Isolating the issue
    I’ve done further checks, testing other sites where Ninja forms work or don’t work.

    • It works on sites where all plugins have been updated (inc. Ninja Forms 2.9.29)
    • It seems to only stop on those that have been updated to WordPress 4.4.

    I suspect this is why it has partially broken.

    Hey guys! We haven’t heard of this happening to the majority of our users but it’s definitely suspect.

    To clarify, emails are not working on 4.4 at all, regardless of Ninja Forms version?

    We cannot reproduce this issue at all on any of our testing (or our own sites). Havey ou checked our troubleshooting documentation here?: https://docs.ninjaforms.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2045713-troubleshooting-ninja-forms#ts_email

    The most common issue is setting the “From” address to something that your mail server doesn’t like. Try removing it or changing it to a domain or the WordPress admin email address.

    It sends email to the user, but not for the admin email.

    It’s working on other sites that haven’t been upgraded to 4.4

    I will double check the troubleshooting ideas you suggest, but it was working in the past…

    Getting “Please enter a valid email address.” on WP 4.4.1
    Has anyone solved it?
