Cant see uploaded plugin

  • I just uploaded a plugin and I cant see it on the WP admin. My site is at https://www.bloghighed.org/ This is also happening with a theme. I had my friend upload via FTP and his shows up fine. You can see my file via ftp but not in the WP admin. Any ideas?

  • Make sure the files are only one layer deep in the folder. Sometimes plugins or themes may be inside a folder that is inside another folder. WordPress only looks one folder deep, so make sure the files are either directly in the wp-plugins folder, or within their own folder in that folder.

    betcha not, whats the name of the plugin? even better, whats the url you got it from so that I can download it?
