Use a static page for front page

I’m using the free basic version of Optimizer, initially I like it, but I don’t want to use a blog page for my home page. I like using a static page that I can tweak. When I switch it to a static page, the slider disappears and I don’t see an option to use it on a static page. Am I missing it or is this part of the Pro package?
