  • I’m having the same problem? Standalone site, based on my own theme based on Kubrick, Jetpack is saying it’s a multi-site, it never has been.

Actually disconnecting the plugin from WP.com, deactivating it and deleting then reinstalling it worked for me.

I also added define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, false); to the wp-config.php just to be sure. Shouldn’t have to though….

I disconnected and reconnected during troubleshooting, but that didn’t seem to help rightaway.

Now we are a few days later and the problem has solved itself automagically. Weird. I’d love to understand the root cause.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

@hansvandamme I just had a look at your Jetpack options, and didn’t notice any issues. You shouldn’t experience any more issues. I’m not sure what happened, but it seems fixed now! Let me know if you still experience issues!

@timbearcub Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

@jeremy Herve As I reported yesterday, the problem has disappeared in the meantime. Must have been a glitch.

    Thanks for investigating, though.

    My site is https://www.digitaldebris.org.uk

It seems to be fine now, dunno if it’s because I use an old theme I designed?

It does seem fine for you too, indeed. Don’t hesitate to post here if it happens again!
