• I’m sorry in advance because I’m sure this is a stupid thing. I’m just not knowledgable on WordPress to figure this out and after HOURS of searching I’m at my wits end.

Have a great theme that I really like but want a simple static FULL WIDTH (no sidebars) home page. I don’t have the knowledge to go messing with php or css, although I’ve been able to create a page template that makes the sidebar disappear. Unfortunately it just makes the area the sidebar was blank; doesn’t make it full width for the page.

Here’s the home page: https://www.johnsonschristmascorner.com/wp/ Ignore the test; just wanted something to have there.

I had a template that literally took a YEAR of my time but never got it to work. Now I find a new one that works well and I can’t do the home page. Just trying to do this simply- it’s for our Christmas website, which I’ve had in HTML for YEARS. WordPress is supposed to be easy and it isn’t (to me at least). About to give up on this whole thing.

Thanks in advance for any help-
    Ryan Johnson
