    New question, do you have Yoast Seo plugin active? We have currently a lot of questions to the Slug topic.

    The wp core give not really possibilities for this problem. We work on it, but is not solved in the next release before release of WP 4.4.

    I think it is fixed in the Yoast SEO plugin, the issue is closed.
    We have no changes on our plugin for this topic.
