  • I second this request. I want to keep visitors on my custom login page when they enter the wrong credentials.

    Here’s another vote for this feature.

    I don’t want a user to be able to change the password at all (it’s a shared subscriber login). I left the Forgot Password link blank, so there’s no box on the initial screen, but if the login fails, the error message is contains the link “Lost your password?” at the end of it. Kind of defeats the purpose!!!

    A login failure redirect would solve this.

    Alternatively, be able to change the error message, so it could say, for example, contact the administrator.

    This is the default message from WordPress. The error message displayed when user enters wrong credentials can be changed using filters. So that “Forgot Password” link do not get displayed.

    I think I will put a option in admin panel in next version so that error message text can be changed from admin panel.

    You can enter customized error messages from plugin settings section.
