How do I get my About page to be my main one?

  • I want to have a home page that describes the purpose of my blog. I am really new to having a website, so am feeling pretty clueless right now. Can someone please help me out with this?

    Also, I managed my blogroll and deleted some of the links that were automatically put on my site. But when I go to view my site again, those links are still there. The same thing happened when I added a new category…the new one appears on the list, but not on the actual page. Please help!

  • if you are using one of the most recent version of WordPress you, you can go to the options > reading tab and there should be an option to select a page as your “home” page.

    As for the category not showing up on the site, it wont show up until you actually post something into it.
