Microsoft Clients add additional HTML Code and Paragraph?

I am having an issue with additional Paragraph breaks everywhere there would normally just be a carriage return in the original email. I notice it does this when I either use Outlook email client or if I compose the message in Word and paste into the email (no matter the client). However, if I compose the message using the web client Outlook.com and send it, then all is fine.

Similar issue if I paste if from Word into GMail. But if I just compose it and format it in GMail, no issue. So, it’s obviously a MS issue (Word and Outlook Client) somehow but was wondering if you may have a solution of some sort or can give me an idea how to resolve it should I want to keep pasting from MS Word?
