I have a site that uses the Polylang plugin for translations.
After creating a translation of a LC page, it works, but after some time, the new language’s content is reset.
This doesn’t happen with other drag&drop builders, but LC is just too awesome to give up on ??

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Install Polylang & Live Composer
    2. Create a page, and insert a text module.
    3. Create a translation with Polylang
    4. Edit the text module in the translation to something else
    5. Log in, log out do whatever (I don’t know what triggers the bug)
    6. See that the translated content is now the original

I can provide some video if needed.

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting me know.

I haven’t used Polylang much, I tried it out a long time ago but just a quick try. Will set it up and test it out. The steps to reproduce should be enough, but a video is always of great help, so if it’s not a big problem do make a quick video of it.

    Hi,

Did a bit of testing and couldn’t replicate the issue. THe video you mentioned would help out a lot with this.

    Hi,

I probably found the issue not long after I posted this, but forgot to post the update, sorry.
Polylang has an option to sync content, and that was turned on, so I suspect that that feature was the culprit. I turned it off, and it seems to work fine.
I had to remove Polylang last week however, as currently, multilinguality is not needed for our site‘s next release.

I’ll post an update if I find something of detail when I install the plugin again.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

It’s possible, if it syncs custom fields ( where LC stores the data ) then it would cause that issue.

    Thanks for letting me know.
