    Hello,

The Types plugin works great–except when I set a password on a Types post, or when I set a Types post to private–then it gives a 404 error on the post.

    I’m using X-Themes.

Thank you for your help. I really need to set each Types post I make to be password protected.

Please remove password and check this post. You can access to this?

If not, please go to “Settings -> Permalinks” and save it.

    Then check again.

    Cheers,
    Marcin

    Hey Marcin,

    Thank you for the help.

Yes, when I remove the password I can access the post.

However I NEED to keep these custom posts password protected.

Do you have any ideas why the Types custom posts give 404 errors when I add a password?

I genuinely, really need to password protect my Types, customs posts.

    Thank you,

    Chris

Hello Chris, I’m sorry for the late reply. Can you please check with our 1.9-beta (https://wp-types.com/2016/01/types-1-9-beta1/) if the issue still persists? I tried to replicate it but I got no 404, everything works as expected.
