Is the ajax call going through the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?

In order to display the full calendar using [ai1ec], are you using admin-ajax.php?
I would like to know before purchasing the plugin.
My admin site runs under https and my front site with http, if the ajax call is going through the admin-ajax, then my connection will be refused.
