WP Comparison Charts Plugin Review

A heads up to anyone looking at purchasing the WP Comparison Charts plugin. I was looking for a comparison chart plugin and ended up buying this one. I tried for hours to figure out how it worked, and finally emailed the owner, William Avellan, for help. He never actually helped me with my questions, but sent a link to a manual!

What I finally figured out was that you must create posts for each item you are going to be comparing. Within each post you make, you would somehow need to include all of your details that you want in the chart. Beyond that, it doesn’t tell you how to actually make a chart whatsoever. It is very confusing and wastes a lot of time. I eventually gave up and asked for a refund.

Mr. Avellan offers a “no questions asked, 100% money back guarantee” within 30 days. He did not even respond to my request. He only takes payment through PayPal, so I filed a complaint with them.

Here is the buyer beware part. When you pay through PayPal, the 100% money back guarantee that he offers is null and void. As long as he has delivered the plugin to you, PayPal’s rules on non-physical items means that you will not receive a refund. Mr. Avellan knows how this works and is scamming people with his WP Comparison Charts plugin. He will never truly offer a refund to anyone for any reason.

I have now found TablePress and it is a great comparison plugin. If only I would have found it in the first place. Extremely easy to use and it actually makes sense! Think twice before spending $29 on the WP Comparison Charts plugin, as you will most likely be as sorry as I am. There are much better options out there!
