Want to Transfer Forum to a Subdomain

  • Hey,

    I am Using WordPress CMS and using bbpress Forum plugin, I created a forum on WP site :- https://www.onlyloudest.com/ask-anything/

    but now, i am looking to Transfer it to https://ask.onlyloudest.com , But I am not able to find the way to Export existing Forums, Topics and Replies from WP forum.

    Is there any way to take backup of just forum section from my WordPress site and then Upload it on Subdomain, where I will use BBPress, which will make it easier for me to manage forums,

    So, How can I take Backup?

  • You can export Forums, Topics, and Replies using WordPress Export (Tools -> Export)

    You could then export updated topics and replies and import them again into your other install.

    Another option would be to use the Duplicator (there are lots of other plugins out there that do the same) and copy your existing site to the subdomain. Then you can delete the plugins that you don’t need and it should work.
