No confirmation S2Member confirmation email sent after paypal payment

    Hi,

    I’m really hoping someone can help me here. I recently upgraded to S2Member pro for increased functionality. I’m still using the standard paypal buttons for now, but since I upgraded, when a customer pays for a gold subscription:

    1) Non-members are not recieving an email confirmation to create a profile.
    2) Free-members with a profile are not being automatically upgraded to a level 1 profile

    They payments seem to be going through fine, however, the connection between paypal and S2meber updating user profiles has broken. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plugin to no avail. Cant see where its going wrong.

    Please help ??

    Do you mean the pro-form’s signup confirmation email? WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Forms -> Signup Confirmation Email

    Or do you mean WP’s New User email? This won’t be sent if the user is allowed to pick his password during registration.

    Free-members with a profile are not being automatically upgraded to a level 1 profile

    Is the user logged into his account before he loads the page with the pro-form? If not, the payment will to towards a new account, not the existing one.
