    I too would be very interested in such a capability, could you do this through htaccess.

    We’ve looked into it and there wouldn’t be a simple solution for implementing something like this. Because the files reside on the server, independent of the page on which they’re linked, it would require a different full file management system with which you could control file permissions and downloads, etc.
