Subdomain installation – database error

  • Hi!
    I watched lots of topics on this issue, tried different things but still not working.
    I want to install WP on my subdomain.
    – I created the subdomain
    – I created a new database with unique name, user and password
    – inserted these into the wp-config.php file
    – went to https://subdomain.domain.com/wp-admin/install.php
    -receive the message “Error establishing a database connection”

    Could anyone help, please!

    if all that information is correct then your database probably has a problem with it. Contact your hosting provider if the database server is offline (if the problem suddenly happened), or if they have any other problem at their end, or they made any changes to your account, or if there are any limitations/restrictions, or if the hosting package is set to Windows and not Linux, etc.
