Referring Links

  • Hello,

    I was wondering if it possible to award rewards to referring members only after the referred members have successfully registered in the site in averse to them (referring member) being awarded simply after referred members click on the link and not essentially registering in the site.

    This is to ensure that referring members are only awarded after the site earns a new member in the form of the referred member(s).

    The closest we have out-of-box is https://badgeos.org/downloads/referring-link/ but I am pretty certain it’s not near what you want, because it’s meant for the person clicking the link etc, and not for a 2nd person somehow tied to the link after a first person clicks it and signs up.

    So probably another functionality case that would need some custom development work to achieve.

    Okay, no probs. Thanks for replying back. Lemme think about it.

    What I wanted is met by this plugin here.

    However, it seems the current edition of the plugin, does not work.

    Sad.
