    I am surprised that nobody has reported this yet. The Wangguard services and website seems to be down.

  • Have you tried going to WangGuard Configuration in your site’s admin?

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wangguard_conf

    For some reason, my API Key had invalidated. I clicked Update options, and then it said “This key is valid.”

    I hope this stops the recent increase in spam registrations.

    Yes, we have a problem with a server, it’s rebooting every few minutes.

    We are working on it.

    Our connection to the wangguard server has been intermittent since Oct 26, 2015, at 7 PM PDT. Right now the connection is non-existent. I have not reported it before because I was pretty sure the wangguard people were aware and working on it already.

    Sorry you guys are having problems & looking forward to the server being up again. We really do appreciate the ability to keep our site splog-free!!

    After typing the preceding I checked again and the server is back up.

    I noticed the same behavior 2 days ago, which lines up with what Jose Conti posted about the server rebooting every few minutes.

    Just to report, the Wangguard server is down for us now and for at least the last several hours, and we’ve been getting cron jobs randomly presenting an API error in the email the crons generate for some days now…
