Installation Blues – It used to work, but has stopped working?

    I had been using WordPress for a blog quite merrily for two weeks or so, without a problem.

    In fact it was going so well that when I decided to start a separate enewsletter I decided to use WordPress as my platform.

    I opened up a separate directory, installed it. But no luck. It didn’t want to work. I then checked details like the wp_config on my blog, and ensured I had done everything according to the books.

    At some point, and I don’t know when, my blog stopped working too! EEEk! Now it says: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/blssrlco/public_html/blog/wp-admin/admin.php on line 7

    PLEASE HELP? What’s going on?
