Static page in root. How to link to latest blog?

  • I hope I have posted this in an appropriate section. In the options I have specified a static page and also that it should be in the root (with the other files in the wordpress directory etc.). However, I have some nav links at the top and one of them says “blogs.” In my header.php file (which contains these links), how do I link to the latest blogs? It’s probably something simple but I cannot seem to find the answer. Thanks–

  • Try creating a Page called Blog (or Blogs, if you prefer), and under Options > Reading, Front Page, select that as your “Posts page.”

    Make sure the link in your header is correct for the Page.
