Flickering on first page load only in IE

  • I have a site that is showing flickering on each slide – but only on the initial display of the page – and only in IE.

    Subsequent page refreshes don’t show the symptom unless the cache is cleared first.

    This doesn’t occur on any other browser.

    Any ideas?

  • Older versions of IE often have problems like that. Which version of IE are you using?

    You may want to try viewing the page in Compatibility Mode and seeing if that makes a difference. If it does, than unfortunately it may be an issue with IE, rather than your site.
