• I’ve been a content curator long before the phrase was invented. In the past few years I have tried many content curation plugins with WordPress. Also, several web based services. Right now I especially like PressForward for an overall content curation. I also use PressThis a lot. I found Link Roundups another great option, but only one of these is actually part of WordPress and supported fully.

Is it possible to add more features for content curation to WordPress?

Link Roundups is especially easy to work with but it relies on shortcodes in the post. I prefer not to work this way. I’ve had plugins malfunction, disappear, etc. Cleaning up a lot of shortcode in posts is not fun.

PressForward has the features of PressThis plus more. You can add your own links to surf from your site and choose content to post. As I work with PressForward I keep finding new things I like about it.

However, I’d like to see content curation become part of WordPress rather than relying on plugins. Content curation is growing, even though some still use it as autoblogging. It would be great to have curation integrated in WordPress.

Sorry if I have posted this in completely the wrong place.
