• I have tried numerous tag cloud plugins, but for some reason all of them list the keywords vertically–that is, one tag per line. How can I overcome this? Apparently it has something to do with my theme’s default settings.

  • all clouds are, are lists — its the CSS that controls making the list(s) look like a cloud.

OK, but how do I tweak the CSS to make the list a cloud?

    bump.

I still am looking for a way to display the tag cloud like this:

    [tag] [tag] [tag]….
    [tag] [tag] [tag]…

Right now it displays in my sidebar as a vertical list like so:

    tag
    tag
    tag

I was hoping someone could provide me with the CSS code to modify my theme with. Do I need to replace the “block” with “inline?”

ok, for starters you havent provided the URL to your web site, you havent even provided a link to where someone can SEE your current list.. you havent provided enough info for anyone to give you an out of the box solution.

So youre gonna have to do a little homework.

Its not that difficult to figure out honest. Just look at the source of your cloud.

If its just the plain old tag cloud that “ships” with WP 2.3.x take a look at how other WP 2.3.x users are displaying theirs.

Ok, I have still not been able to ascertain how exactly to make my tag cloud display horizontally instead of vertically.

    Here is my site.

Any suggestions on what to do with the CSS? I am using the CTC tag cloud widget, btw. The tag cloud on my page is at the bottom of the left sidebar.

CTC has been updated several times, you can now select either Flat or List. Flat gives you the inline arrangement.
