I’d like to know if there is a way first to export from Outlook to .ics, the categories I created (in Outlook), and then then import that .ics (with Outlook categories), through your plugin.

Currently, it doesnt seem like Outlook allows to export the categories I created…? Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks!

  • No success with it for me. Outlook and Ai1EC don’t play well.

Outlook doesnt seem to export categories in the first place (on .ics), but it does on csv.
However, since Im working with an ics that is shared online automatically, I dont have the option (nor I would want to) to manually export it to csv first, the convert it to ics, then republish it online… then have the plugin import it.

    *sigh*

AEC doesn’t like when there are multiple categories on an appointment in outlook. If you do solo categories it works ‘ok’. I have issues with reoccuring events not importing properly either.

Its because of the way outlook exports .ics files and how AEC handles importing them.
