I’m having a couple of issues with the WordPress-to-lead for Salesforce CRM plugin. Firstly, the fields that are selected in WordPress aren’t showing up in Salesforce – e.g. “how did you hear about us”. The field next to “company” is also showing up with the “comments box”.

Secondly, the emails linked up to the inbox are doubling up, as well as the Salesforce leads coming in. For each lead, there are 5 or 6 copies of it.

    Please help me!!

Firstly, the fields that are selected in WordPress aren’t showing up in Salesforce – e.g. “how did you hear about us”. The field next to “company” is also showing up with the “comments box”.

    Have you:

    1. Read the FAQ (specifically the bit about naming your fields correctly)?
    2. Tried the form importer (insures correct field naming)?

Secondly, the emails linked up to the inbox are doubling up, as well as the Salesforce leads coming in. For each lead, there are 5 or 6 copies of it.

    Form link?

    Standard troubleshooting procedure:

    1. Check for plugin conflicts:
Deactivate all possible plugins: Did that solve the problem?

If it did, it’s a plugin conflict:
Reactivate plugins one at a time until the problem returns. The last plugin activated is the culprit. Report back with that plugin name/link and I can troubleshoot the issue to determine if there’s a fix.

    If not:

    2. Check for theme conflicts:
With all plugins disabled, switch to a bundled theme (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014). Did that solve the problem?

If it did, your theme is causing the issue. Talk to the theme vendor directly or request premium support to have me troubleshoot the issue with your theme.

Thanks for getting back to me Nick. I tried debugging plugin but no success! The following message shows up when I submit a form:

“Warning: extra() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/labtech/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 236”

Do you know how to solve this issue?

extra() sounds like an error from a different plugin…

Did you do the standard troubleshooting steps?
