Photon Issue
-
I have a serious issue and based on my quest for an answer, it appears the issue is Photon, part of Jetpack that I activated.
I have almost 1,000 links that are showing as broken on my site because Photon took my images and attached some kind of prefix domain to it. Now, all of my uploaded photos to my domain show as broken.
I’ll use this post as an example: https://sffood.net/beef-stroganoff-recipe/
As you can see, all the images show up.
Yet, my broken link checker shows them as all broken:
https://screencast.com/t/tVt9XQFRczSWhen I click on that link, the image is indeed NOT THERE.
But this is the URL it is registering as broken:
https://sffood.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/beef-stroganoff-recipe-9-1024×682.jpg –> this should be a good link! When I open the image from the actual post, this is the URL where the image is actually living now:
https://screencast.com/t/Nus9HrcUThat URL has become:
https://i1.wp.com/sffood.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/beef-stroganoff-recipe-9.jpg
Deactivating Photon is not helping; it’s showing me no images in my posts even after flushing the cache. What on earth happened and how do I fix this? I do not want the i1.wp.com prefix on these sites but there doesn’t appear to be a way to go back.
