  • Hello besweeet,

This error is usually caused by having multiple versions or copies of the same plugin on the your site. Can you confirm that this plugin is not installed twice on your site?

Removing the plugin from /wp-content/plugins and reinstalling it did the trick. I had this issue on 3 different WordPress instances when updating from the previous version for some reason.

Interestingly, WordPress is still saying that I have version 2.0.5 installed, even though 3.0.1 is the newest.

I removed the existing plugin and manually installed it by downloading the plugin’s ZIP file directly from WordPress and uploading the files to my server. Still getting the same message about there being a newer version of the plugin.

Ok I see exactly what you are taking about. There seemed to be an issue with the last updated file structure. No need to worry now its all fixed, just make sure you update to version 3.0.2 ??

If you need anything else please let me know.
