IE8 error

Doing browser testing on local environment in IE8 (browserstack) and getting an error “Object doesn’t support this property or method” in frontend.min.js char: 2458, which I’ve tracked down as the window.chrome check (line 218 in unminified).

Running current plugin version (2.2.2) but production site still has v1.9.1 and doesn’t seem to error.

I’m using the default “Replace featured image automatically” setting

Any clues?!
