• this is an internal page.

The theme installed is a theme for developer named bones

I would like to add a right sidebar.

I have already made research. I ask how to add this sidebar to the theme.

I’m not a very expert, but I can do things with my practical skills.

    Thanks

  • Hello bobrock4,

I’m not very familar with the theme you mention, but have you check in the Page edit screen to see if there is a Template setting showing under the Page Attributes box in the page or post edit screen?

If not you could create a child theme and then create your own version of the page.php file. You would then need to amend the code for the content div to allow for a sidebar to be called.

    Kind regards,
    Drew

    Thanks Drew for your reply.

I checked where you said. Template name is “standard” and the other type of page are “home” and “portfolio”. Nothing of useful.

I will try with a child theme even if I would need some help by a developer I think.

    Best regards
