    Hello,
i am using the last version of the plugin, I’ve created some albums with gallery associated within it. Then I have created some pages in my theme and added the shortlink

    <p>[album id=14 template=extend]</p>

in order to show on the single page a specific album with all its galleries. In the example above I can see album n. 14 in extend mode. Everything works fine except with the album id 16, where in the page I can see above the miniature the title of another gallery that nothing has to do with that album!

Here you can see a correctly working page with album and its galleries shown: https://www.velicatrentina.it/la-velica/

Instead, here the page with the strange error/title above the galleries’ miniatures: https://www.velicatrentina.it/eventi-culturali/

Notes: I’ve already tried to recreate an album and associate galleries, also with a different id number, I’ve also double-checked the HTML code of the page and it is identical to the other working…..I only have the shortlink like explained above.

Can anybody help me on this tricky issue?

    Thanks a lot!
    Thomas

@trive83 – Have you tried tuning off breadcrumbs under Gallery > Gallery Settings > NextGEN Basic Compact Album *and* NextGEN Basic Extended Album?

@trive83 – Great! Thanks for the update!

    – Cais.

But setting it to no (disable breadcrumb), is no solution.
There is an bug in NextGEN since at least 7 months.
It can always happen that an album and a gallery have the same ID.
The title musst be right in all cases.

@simon-franke – Please do not copy and paste the same message across multiple topics that may not specifically be related to the issue you are seeing on your site.

    Thanks!

I wanted to highlight, that other users had the same problem since 7 month. I was a little bit angry, thats disabling was the only solution in this long time.

@simon-franke – We can appreciate you may have been frustrated to not find the solution that worked best for you but the other topic posters appeared happy with their results.

    – Cais.

It′s not only for me, its a bug in the software. Others users have the same problem with the wrong title, gallery title instead of album title.

@simon-franke – We are still reviewing what might be the case here and have not found any general conditions that would affect multiple users. That does not mean to say this is not happening on other sites aside from your own but we have not found a connection between them as this does not happen on all sites everywhere.

    – Cais.

You read a lot of other user feedback, which describes the same problem like me. So there is a problem in source code, for sure.
I can′t solve it, because its your programm. You have all hints regarding to the problem

A normal user wouln′t be able to give you the main hint, that the problem only exists it there is a album and a gallery with the SAME ID.

Don′t blackmail me to public a link, thats not possible. Give me a demo account and I will show it to you. It seems that you have not the same settings than me. Something else is not possible, because I use nextgen out of the box, without changes.

@simon-franke – Please stop cross-posting, it is not helping the OP of this topic.

    Thanks!

You always answer in two topics on the similar way for the same problem.
I can′t not always write different answers for the same story.
I just need a solution, like the others customers too.

@simon-franke – You did not start this topic so it would be best for you to keep to your own topic rather than continuing in a topic that has been marked resolved.
