How to remove 'Mailchimp short code is deprecated" message

    Hi Acohen,

    From the HTML on the page it looks like the old shortcode lives inside of it’s own text widget.

    Did you remove that text widget altogether?

    Also, on that note – did you use the migration functionality after the upgrade? If so, how did that work for you? Any issues on your end?

    Yes, it looks like all you will need to do is remove the text widget below our MailChimp widget.

    Thank you both. I removed the text box that I do not remember putting there ever! and now it’s gone. Yay

    I don’t know if I used the migration functionality after the upgrade. Frankly, in spite of your help tutorials, I did not find it easy to do. But thankfully, the signup box is back and the sidebar now looks better.

    We’re sorry about that.

    We did a complete rebuild of the plugin from the ground-up to make it better than ever. There was a lot of legacy code that needed to be replaced and tried to reduce the pain of updating as much as possible, but knew it would still be a bumpy ride for some.

    However, we’re really glad you are up and running again!
