Admin Can No Longer Edit Page

    After updating to Frontier Post 3.7.3, as an admin, when I visit a page on the frontend and select Edit Page from the admin toolbar, WordPress redirects me to the Frontier post editor. I am no longer able to edit pages via the WordPress editor. I can only access the WordPress editor to edit pages via the Dashboard. Is there a setting that I can toggle?

    Hi, if I understand you correctly, this is how Frontier Post is supposed to work.

    You have 2 settings in frontier post capabilities, that can chamge this behaviour, on a role basis:

    Frontier edit: If this is checked, rhe role will be redirected to Frontier Post if they select the standard wordpress edit link for post and pages, if unchrcked they will go to the bsckend (admin area)

    Can pages: if role is allowed to add/edit/delete pages from the frontend (does not affect backend functionslity)

    Thank you. That did it.

    This is the first time I’ve ever updated the plugin (new user). Before I made the update, I was able to edit pages from the frontend via the WordPress editor. The Frontier Edit feature must have been disabled for admin. Is it unusual for the option to reset to a default when updating the plugin?

    V. 3.7.3 fixed the edit link for pages, it hadn’t been working as designed

    Sorry, I discovered there is a bug, where the edit page link is disabled if “Can Page” is unchecked. Will be fixed in version 3.8.0 (expected to be released just after WordPress 4.4
