Change field names

  • Hello

    So far I like this plugin very much and if I can solve the last issue it would be super good.

    In help section I see that we can set default description for [ms-membership-register-user] short code. For example:[ms-membership-register-user hint_email=”[email protected]”]

    But is the any option that we can change actual names of this fields, so it would not write for example “Choose a Username” but I could write “Put username in here”. I would like to create filed names in my national language to be honest.

    Any help would be good.

    Hey there c152slo,

    Hope you’re well today ??

    This should already be possible with the above mentioned shortcode. If you expand the shortcode in Membership 2 -> Help -> Shortcodes you’ll see optional attributes for this under Field Labels, please see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/E7CnZD41g.

    So for example if you add the following shortcode:

    [ms-membership-register-user title="" hint_email="[email protected]" label_username="Put username in here" label_password2="Repeat"]

    This should be the result https://screencast.com/t/lzbdmb5Z2XBZ. “Choose a Username” will be replaced with “Put username in here”, the following part is doing that:

    label_username="Put username in here"

    You can apply the same for other fields as well.

    Bojan, just one more thing.

    Where can I manualy upgrade “membership” plugin to version “membership 2”? I installed “membership2” plugin and did’t upgraded at the time to new version.

    Now I searched how to upgrade manualy, but I just can not find option.

    Deactivating and deleting plugin and new install does not help.

    Hey again c152slo,

    Upgrade is meant only for users that were using old version of Membership plugin.

    If you’re able to see the shortcode section as displayed on my screenshot you’re already using Membership 2 so there should be nothing to upgrade to if that makes sense.
