• Hi! First of all I would like to thank You for this great theme. I really appreciate the fact that I am able to use it.
I have an issue. I would like to have the same beautiful home page, with the same amazing slider and all its functions and, lets say, with five RECENT posts under it, with no comment ability there, and no navigation (just the 5 most recent posts), pretty much just the way it is by default, BUT I want to have a separate page (for example named “Posts”) that would not have a slider and show ALL the posts starting with recent on the top, with navigation and all the commenting, and so on.
Is there a way of doing that?

    One more question:
How important is the Site Description, under the Theme-Identity? Does it have anything to do with SEO, tagging and all that stuff? Where esle does it function, apart from being under the logo?
Im asking this, because I do not need it under the logo, as the logo header is already too huge, but I would like to keep its functionality, if there is any.

    Thank You very much again!

  • I’m having a similar issue. Using Shopisle theme I’ve got a great full page slider as Home Page but in order to have that I must set it to ‘latest posts’ which means I can’t set up a separate ‘Post’ page because that requires a ‘static’ home page. Also, some of my older posts are on pages. I want to keep them that way because I can edit the appearance of the page but can’t (yet) edit a post’s appearance. There are no tags for pages. Any tips, anybody?

Not possible with the default theme settings, you could try the plugin Page Builder by SiteOrigin but you’ll need to recreate the intro page.
