Image edits not previewing or publishing in blog

Hello! Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, I did a brief search but didn’t find anything.

When I resize the images for my blog post the edits show in the edit window, but not in the preview and published post.

Attempted fixes: I updated to the most recent version of WP and updated all plug-ins. I removed all the images, resized them in the editor instead of within the post and put them back in. Then I emailed my site developer since we’d just redone the site to make sure there wasn’t a problem there. She worked on it and was able to edit and publish–yay!–but when I tried again I had the same problem. ??

Is there some kind of caching issue or something similar that could be causing this? Any ideas appreciated!
