Blackcolors theme modification

  • Hello, i’m french and have a poor english language.
    I want to have a 1 pixel border on each post which appears on the main page of the site with blackcolors theme, on 3 to 5 columns.
    I search into a few css files into WP, but no success to do that…
    Please, how to create a border with (or not) css ?
    And how to create a background color into each post ?
