Mailing lists, optin forms & auto responders

  • So I am just looking for advice from anyone with a suggestion ??
    I have a multisite setup where people subscribe and I give them a site with a lot of tools to create capture pages & mailing list and post to facebook and that sort of thing.

    What I need is a wordpress plugin(s) so my clients can create a form to put on their capture pages, the form sends an autoresponse message, then the leads are saved to mailing lists where I need mailer/newsletter plugin so they can send messages to these lists they are creating.

    I have tried a few and some are buggy, some are difficult for the newbie users to learn which ends up in too many support tickets to respond to.

    Any suggestions on plugins to use where all this can be done from their wordpress admin?

    I guess its not easy to setup and tie everything together or maybe I should just let them use a service like mailchimp?

  • Going the mailchimp way is easiest, just let them have the plugin. If you want them to use your own mailing lists it will definitely need to be custom-coded, and audited for security so that users can’t fiddle with one another’s lists.
