  • Either make a favicon or delete the call in the page calling it. As for your quicktags issue, never ran across that problem, sorry.

yeah that google link was a test

I am also having a problem with this. Was this ever resolved?
This is the only post I’ve found about this.

Alison – can you fully explain your problem ?

Thanks for your very prompt response. I’ve figured it out. Man – I wish I’d been born with a palm pilot embedded in my hand, I might find technology a little easier.
Here was the problem: When I tried to add a link using Quicktag nothing showed up. I typed: “Go here for further information:” and hit the Quicktag link button immediately after typing the word “Information” – entereed my link in the pop-up and considered the job complete. Yet, when I went to the postm nothing was there.

    How I resolved it:
After cruising the support files for almost an hour, I found this thread. By reading this thread, I came to wonder if maybe what I had to do was WRITE something after hitting the link Quicktag! Ah ha – so I TYPED the link into the box AFTER hitting the Quicktag link button, and ABRACADABRA IT WORKS!
THE MORAL OF THIS STORY: If at first you don’t succeed, try try again?

By the way, the box I where I typed the URL was the posting box.
If anyone else is as techno dweebie as me, let it be known that you must FIRST enter the URL you want to link to in the pop up that appears when you hit the Quicktag link button, and SECOND after that popup box disappears you must write SOMETHING in the posting window. Whatever you write in the posting window will appear in a different color and it will then work as a link.
