Bilingual Menu

  • Hello!

    I need help modifying the French menu, after installing a new theme – WEN Corporate. When I try to make changes to the French menu I get an error message saying that the page does not exist.

  • Can you please elaborate on this? Regarding how you have been making your site multi-lingual one. Are you using WPML or something else?

    Thank you for getting back to me. I am using the WPML plugin for translation. The plugin was installed and used with another theme. After installing the new theme, I lost the French menu. However, yesterday, somehow I found a way to put it back ?? If I chose Primary Menu for the EN Menu in the Menu Settings the theme displays the English menu on both websites. If I uncheck the box, it displays the theme Menu with some of my earlier modifications, although I synchronized the two menus. However, the FR menu is wrong and I need to modify it; but when I do it gives me an error message (page does not exist) and the changes are not saved. Same if I try to make changes to the EN menu.

    Can you help?

    The problem seems to be with WPML. Please make sure you have properly configured your plugin. Also, in WPML you have to create duplicate page for all of the pages that you have on your main (primary) language while translating them independently. However, you can dig more on this by visiting WPML documentation. Thanks!
