  • I got the same problem. Crawled 0 pages in X seconds. It seems to be random though – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

In my case, I’m still waiting for that first time :s

Have you tried setting flush to yes (or no) ?

    Hi Ramon

I gave that a try 4 hours ago (cronjob runs every hour) but for the moment it still says 0.

could you sent me your FTP or SSH logins at https://www.mijnpress.nl/contact-opnemen/ ?
I also need the sitemap location and your crawl URL (from warm cache)

I will take a look for free.

    Same issue here.

Since you do not seem inclined to remedy the transients issue with any vigour, we favour bash scripts for clients (but do occasionally try this plugin for clients with low traffic, so long as they are on a VPS or dedicated server).

It doesn’t seem to work in any environment now, however, after the latest update, and only worked intermittently prior with very little rhyme or reason.

At first we thought it was an issue and/or conflict with NGINX, but no. We’ve recently tried it with at least 15 different environments/server permutations and Warm Cache did not work on any of them (0 pages crawled, regardless of plugin settings and/or manner in which the given URL is crawled [wget or curl]).

We’re not interested in debugging your code so I hope you’re motivated to figure things out for the benefit of the WP community.

    Be well,

Yves, your subsitemaps are zipped (tar/gz) files. My plugin can only read XML sitemaps.

AJ: please contact me to check this. See my previous link.

I can’t send you logins to client websites/setups, mate.

I do understand the plugin is free, but if you want to standardize it across environments, I suggest you set up different server environments/testing scenarios instead of the one – or very few – that you quite clearly have to determine the soundness of v.1.9.2 as a confidently distributable WP plugin.

    AJ

…as an aside, and as an illustration of the confidence I personally have in the potential of this plugin, I do in fact recommend its use in WpFASTER’s official WordPress Optimization course on Udemy. I believe in it that strongly.

Going back and telling my students that they ought not even try the plugin not only makes me look bad but the plugin – and you, Ramon, by extension – too.

    Be well,
    AJ
