Flowing block quotes and bullets around images

I want to flow block quotes and bullet points around images. When I try to do so, the left alignment goes awry. Specifically, block quotes and bullet points are normally indented, but the indentation disappears when they flow around an image. I’ve spent hours looking around for a solution but without success. I’d really appreciate some advice here.
