• Currently a message appears at each required inputfield if it is not filled in when trying to send it. Is it possible to change this so that the message is hidden, but the required inputfield in question is changing it’s css to for example a red color. Which ofcourse indicates that the required inputfield is not filled in.

  • What message appears? Kindly provide more details to your question.
You may include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface. If others here are able to understand your actual problem, they may be able to offer a possible solution.

I meant the Validation Error message (like ‘Please fill the required field.’) when an inputfield isn’t filled in by the user. Currently CF7 only supports floating and static versions of it:

Only I would like to change the color of the inputfield that hasn’t been filled in instead of a static or floating message.

You may take a look at Custom Validation.
