    Hello

    Could anyone help with an error message I keep getting.

    I just installed a new website with a semiologic theme

    Everytime I save a change in the admin area, I get this message posted at the top of the screen

    WordPress database error: [Table ‘alavanzo_wrdp1.wp_categories’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT categories.* FROM wp_categories as categories INNER JOIN wp_post2cat as post2cat ON post2cat.category_id = categories.cat_ID INNER JOIN wp_posts as posts ON posts.ID = post2cat.post_id WHERE categories.category_nicename IN ( ‘archives’, ‘about’, ‘contact’ ) AND categories.category_parent = 0 AND posts.post_status = ‘publish’ AND posts.post_date_gmt <= ‘2007-12-04 14:46:00’

    Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

    Thank
    M

  • Is the error there if you switch to the default or classic theme that comes with WP 2.3.x?
    If not – it’s an incompatible theme…

    Thanks for answering my question,

    It seems like this may be the issue,

    However, I am not really liking the themes that it is compatible with.

    I tried to find the “sticky” post on the main forum to see what I might do about this but cannot locate it

    Is sticky the actual topic name?

    Thanks
