wp-mail no content with 2.3.1

  • Hi,

    When I try to post using email with wp-mail.php I get no content with emails that have attachments, but if I send a text only post it will work.

    I’ve installed version 2.3.1 through the Dreamhost.com One-Click Install method.

    Any ideas what could be happening? All the other help posts for ‘no content’ seem to be because of an issue with earlier version of WP but Dreamhost’s install should be 2.3.1.

  • Do you have any plugins running that have anything to do with the email? Especially any that might affect attachments. I have had similar trouble with some email, and it turned out to be a conflict with one of my plugins (OpenID, in my case). If so, it might be that the plugin doesn’t work well with 2.3.1.

    I don’t think wp-mail.php handles attachments.

    Same problem with retrieving text-only (no attachments) …. deactivated all plugins and still only retrieves title and subject but no content. Have reported on TRAC as bug.
