Multilangual site with blog only url problem

  • Hi everyone,

    I use wordpress on my site only for blog because I don’t want to use it for all my website. So I installed wordpress on a subfolder called “blogue”. The url of my blog is https://www.mywebsite.com/blogue

    I now want my website to be multilangual. I installed the polylang plugin to manage multilanguage. My problem is that I want the english version of my blog to be https://www.mywebsite.com/blog. I try different configuration in polylang settings and in wordpress settings but I am not able to have those two url. The only configuration that word for english give me a url like https://www.mywebsite.com/blogue/en

    Do someone have a solution to solve my problem?

    I will reword my question, I want to have two blog of different language, one in french at the url https://www.mywebsite.com/blogue and one in english at the url https://www.mywebsite.com/blog

    How can I achieve this without having two installation of wordpress. My current installation is in french and is in the folder /blogue on my website.

    What I have tried for now is installing the plugin Polylang, but I was not able to setup the url like I want.

    I also tried to setup a multisite. I was able to setup my url like i want but i cannot access it as when i go to https://www.mywebsite.com/blog I got a 404 error because my installation is in /blogue.
