    Hi,
I have a bad issue with Polylang.
I need to use 1.6.5 version because my theme have incompatibilty with more recent versions. Now..after 4.2.2 wordpress updating (the last version has another problem more always with polylang pll__ strings) I get a 404 page like..

    Forbidden

    Web Server at …

..when I try to update the translation string list on polylang. So I’ve tried to do the mod_security with the webserver and it doesn’t works. I’ve updated wordpress and it’s worse. I’ve deleted polylang but I lost all and so I back up everythin… I’ve read everything about it and I didn’t find nothing working.. Have you some suggestions to get out of this fix?
Is there a way to export all translation strings to re-import in another plugin installation?
    Thanks in advance

    I fixed it by myself.
There was a kind of conflict with the plugin Cookie Notice. In fact in Polylang strings setting there were more items of Cookie Notice than the beginning situation.
This was my first clue, so I deleted Cookie Notice and I tried to go through phpMyAdmin and looking for Cookie Notice translated strings of Polylang. I deleted all them and when I updated, of course Cookie Notice strings were disappeared and Polylang finally start again to works.
    Good job!
